Mother has finished stitching the lace sleeves
to my Christmas frock.
I do love a bit of lace, velvet and satin
for the holidays...
and of course, a brooch of significant size.
I dare say, it is quite a bold frock ...
I shall remain quite the lady, though,
and one shall only see the peep toes
of my dancing shoes.
I must remain light of foot, as I expect Mother shall
dress my hair with white ostrich feathers ...
